Welcome to PlastiConnect, a freelancing platform specialized in the plastics industry. By accessing or using our platform, you agree to comply with these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree, please refrain from using our services.
1. Definitions
- Platform – Refers to PlastiConnect, including its website and mobile application.
- User – Any individual or entity using PlastiConnect.
- Expert – A professional providing services via PlastiConnect.
- Company – A business entity using PlastiConnect to post projects or hire experts.
- Admin Hub – The administrative body of PlastiConnect.
- Payment Gateway – A third-party service processing transactions.
- Legal Documents – Includes company registration papers, contracts, agreements, and identity verification documents such as passports and company IDs.
2. User Eligibility and Account Registration
- Users must be at least 18 years old.
- Companies must provide accurate business registration documents.
- Experts must verify their identity using a passport or government-issued ID.
- PlastiConnect reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts in case of fraudulent or misleading information.
3. Payment Terms
- Payments are securely processed via PlastiConnect’s third-party payment gateway.
- Transaction fees apply only when an expert withdraws funds from their wallet, with fees varying by payment method.
- PlastiConnect holds payments in escrow until project completion.
- Disbursements are made according to the agreed milestones in the contract between Expert and Admin Hub.
- Refunds and disputes will be handled per the PlastiConnect Dispute Resolution Policy.
- Payments will only be accepted in US Dollars in the initial phase.
- We do not trade with or provide services to OFAC-sanctioned countries.
4. Identity Verification and Legal Compliance
- Companies must provide valid business registration documents.
- Experts must submit a government-issued ID (passport, national ID) for verification.
- PlastiConnect complies with GDPR, CCPA, and Lebanese legal regulations.
- Data is encrypted, stored securely, and not shared with third parties except as required by law.
5. Confidentiality and Non-Disclosure
- Experts and Companies must keep all project-related information confidential.
- Experts and Companies are prohibited from directly exchanging personal contact details.
- A Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) is attached as Annex B in the Expert-Admin Agreement.
6. Non-Solicitation and Non-Compete
- Experts may not engage in direct contracts with companies outside PlastiConnect for three (3) years after project completion.
- Companies may not hire an expert outside PlastiConnect without prior authorization.
- Violations may result in legal action and account termination.
7. Data Protection and Privacy
- PlastiConnect complies with GDPR, CCPA, and Lebanese privacy laws.
- Users personal and business data will not be shared without consent, except for legal requirements.

8. Project Milestones and Payment Releases
- Payments are held in escrow until project completion.
- Milestone payments must be approved by the company before release.
- In case of disputes, the Admin Hub has authority to mediate and evaluate project deliverables.
9. Dispute Resolution
- Governing Law: Lebanese Code of Obligations and Contracts.
- Any dispute shall be resolved through arbitration in Beirut, Lebanon, following Articles 762–808 of the Lebanese Code of Civil Procedure (CCP).
- Arbitration will be conducted under the Lebanese Arbitration Center (LAC) or another agreed-upon arbitration body.
- The Admin Hub has the authority to evaluate and resolve disputes on behalf of the Company and Expert.
10. Termination of Accounts
- PlastiConnect reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
- Users may request account deletion, but transaction records may be retained for legal compliance.
11. Refund Policy
- Refunds are issued only under specific conditions:
- The expert fails to deliver the agreed-upon services.
- The company cancels the project before any work is done.
- Disputes are resolved in favor of the company.
- Refunds are not granted if:
- The expert has already completed a significant portion of the project.
- The company fails to communicate clear requirements.
- The issue arises due to scope changes not agreed upon initially.
- Refund requests must be submitted within 7 days of project cancellation or non- completion.
- Approved refunds are processed within 14 business days.
12. Service Level and Liability Disclaimer
- Limited Liability – PlastiConnect is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including:
- Loss of revenue or business.
- Breaches of contract between experts and companies.
- Payment disputes beyond our control.
- Liability Cap – If PlastiConnect is found liable in any dispute, its total liability is limited to the fees collected for that specific transaction.
13. Amendments to These Terms
- PlastiConnect may update these Terms at any time.
- Users will be notified of significant changes.
- Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
14. Additional Legal Notices
- Our country of domicile is Lebanon, and all legal matters shall be governed by local laws.
- Visa and MasterCard are accepted payment methods.
- Cardholders must retain a copy of transaction records and merchant policies.
- Users under 18 years may not register or transact on PlastiConnect.
- Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their accounts.
15. Liability and User Responsibility
PlastiConnect supervises projects but does not assume responsibility for:
- The source, accuracy, or ownership of company-provided data.
- The intellectual property, originality, or feasibility of expert-provided solutions.
- Misrepresentations, fraud, or errors in shared data.
Supervision and Compliance Verification
- PlastiConnect verifies that solutions conform to the agreed technical requirements.
- PlastiConnect does not approve the originality, legality, or effectiveness of data.
Limitation of Liability
- PlastiConnect’s liability is strictly limited to the contract value and only under specific conditions.
